Dr. Anand Sarkar is a Senior Fellow at Government Medical College (GMC), Kozhikode, renowned for delivering high-quality pain and palliative care to patients with chronic and terminal illnesses. Driven by a mission to enhance patient and family quality of life and dignity, Dr. Sarkar employs evidence-based and ethical practices in their care.

Holding a robust academic record, Dr. Sarkar earned an MDS in Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial Radiology from NITTE University, Mangalore, and pursued a PGDPH in Public Health from Annamalai University. Further honing his expertise, he completed a fellowship in pain and palliative care at GMC, Kozhikode, and is recognized as a certified orofacial pain specialist by GIAN. Dr. Sarkar has also completed the Advanced Trauma Life Support course at JIPMER.

With a vested interest in the digitalization of healthcare, Dr. Sarkar has undergone advanced training in laser and ultrasound technologies. He is on a path to specialize in orofacial pain and implantology.
